Pearl jewellery is one way to mark a 30th wedding anniversary. GIA’s anniversary guide lists cultured pearls for the 30th year and notes that there is no single authoritative anniversary-gemstone list. If that tradition matters to the recipient, use it as a starting point, then choose a design that fits the jewellery they actually wear.

Start with the recipient’s everyday jewellery

Look at the pieces they reach for: rings, a single necklace or a fuller pearl strand. Notice the finish they prefer and whether they choose small details or a larger focal shape. An anniversary gift can connect with that existing style instead of requiring a completely new look.

You might choose a pearl detail because it marks the year, then add a note about a shared memory or something you appreciate about the person. The note can explain your own meaning for the gift without relying on a symbolic message everyone must share.

A pearl ring when you know the fit

The Bronte Mini Pearls Ring places five small freshwater pearls across the front of the band. It currently offers Gold and Silver options in numbered ring sizes 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.

A ring makes sense when the recipient enjoys wearing one and you can confirm the size for the intended finger. Our ring-size guide explains how to measure. If the gift is a surprise, avoid guessing a numbered size from a photograph.

A necklace for someone who enjoys a hanging detail

The Delphine La Isla Necklace has a white pearl drop below a ring-and-bar centre. Its current listing specifies a freshwater pearl detail, an approximate necklace length of 45–48 cm, and Gold or Silver options.

Compare that listed length with a necklace the recipient comfortably wears, and consider the necklines they usually choose. For a continuous pearl strand instead of a hanging detail, our pearl pendant and beaded-necklace comparison shows the difference.

Check the details before the anniversary

  • Confirm the design: choose the ring or necklace according to the recipient’s usual jewellery, rather than the anniversary number alone.
  • Confirm fit and finish: select the size where required and check Gold or Silver on the individual product page.
  • Plan for the date: read the current delivery guide for the destination before ordering.
